1 to 4 September 2026
National Graphene Institute, The University of Manchester
The British Carbon Group was proud to sponsor NanoteC26, one of Europe’s longest running conferences dedicated to carbon nanoscience.
Established in 1998, NanoteC brings together researchers working across carbon science at the nanoscale, including graphene, carbon nanotubes and other advanced carbon materials. The conference provides an important space for these research communities to exchange ideas, explore shared challenges and develop new collaborations.
The 2026 programme combined invited lectures from leading experts with contributed talks and poster presentations. NanoteC is particularly valued for its friendly and engaging atmosphere, its emphasis on open discussion and its strong encouragement of student and early career researcher participation.
NanoteC26 was organised by Professor Ian Kinloch, Dr Chris Ewels, Dr Alex Theodosiou, Dr Cristina Vallés and Dr James McHugh.
The British Carbon Group is pleased to support events that strengthen the carbon research community and create opportunities for researchers at all career stages to share their work.
